Program Coordinator

Oversee a vaccination expansion initiative and support day-to-day clinic operations. Reports to Jackson Higginbottom, MPH, Board President, and Aneesh Pakala, MD, Medical Director.
About this role
What you’ll do
Lead vaccination rollout, tracking and reminder systems, cold-chain compliance, program evaluation, and grant reporting.
Assist with grant proposals, funding research, deadlines, budgets, and supporting materials.
Coordinate medication and vaccine ordering, inventory, expiration dates, and storage with the clinical team.
Support volunteer scheduling, communication, onboarding, orientation, and records.
Help with Saturday clinic workflow, bilingual intake and consent, patient education, outreach, and community partnerships.
RN, MSW, MPH, or comparable healthcare or nonprofit experience.
Experience in community health, free or charitable clinics, public health, or nonprofit healthcare.
Volunteer coordination, grant writing or management, and vaccine or medication inventory experience.
Comfort with Excel, Google Workspace, and cloud-based tools.
Organization, initiative, cultural responsiveness, and commitment to healthcare equity and language access.
Saturday clinic presence is required; weekday hours are flexible for coordination, ordering, and reporting. This grant-funded role has a one-year term, with renewal dependent on performance and funding. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Collaborate with the other nonprofit development intern and Jackson Higginbottom as one team, sharing campaign planning, outreach, communications, and progress tracking.
Maintain a campaign calendar and task tracker, flag deadlines, and prepare a short weekly update.
Help volunteer ambassadors use approved outreach materials and organize their questions and follow-up needs.
Draft accessible emails, social posts, thank-you messages, and campaign updates for review before use.
Check links and materials for accuracy; compile aggregate campaign measures from approved reports.
Document learning and prepare a concise campaign handoff.
Who should apply
A current college student who is from Oklahoma or attends school in Oklahoma, with an interest in nonprofit fundraising and community health.
Clear writing, attention to detail, dependable communication, and a willingness to learn.
No particular major, fundraising experience, or personal donor network is required.
Campaign coordination and content work can be done remotely. Team meetings are on weekdays after 5 PM or on weekends, by Zoom or in person when feasible, with the time zone and any location agreed together. Exact dates and compensation are to be determined. This role does not include clinical work, patient records, or handling payments.
